Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 2 DAYS WEEK/ 10 MONTH POSITION
Salary: $29-32.00 per hour

Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field of study is required.
Credentials: NYS Professional License in area of study is preferred upon hire, and required after one year of employment. License requirements are LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a clinician are preferred.
Knowledge of counseling services, well developed advocacy skills, and knowledge and understanding of payment processes for services preferred.
The School Based Counseling (SBC) Clinician is a 10-month position responsible for the assessment and treatment delivery of quality mental health service to youth and families. This is achieved by utilizing effective clinical Judgment and oversight regarding individual assessments, treatment planning, KSK assessments and consultations with staff, and, when indicated, directly with families. The Clinician will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that documentation reflects a thorough assessment of the youth's/family's needs.
