Job summary

Northwell Health in Westchester County is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the school mental health team in Westchester County. The consultant psychiatrist provides formal psychiatric evaluations in schools, on site or virtually, and works within the school mental health program.

• BE/BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• School mental health or crisis/emergency psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal psychiatric evaluations in partnering school districts, on site or virtually.
• Consult with schools and collaborate with a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Center team.
• Offer professional and community education, curricular support, and care coordination to participating districts.
• Travel to partnering school districts in Westchester County.
