Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) Child and Adolescent psychiatrist to join the school mental health team in Westchester County. The consultant will provide formal psychiatric evaluations in schools on site or virtually and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the Behavioral Health Center for crisis assessment and short-term care.

Applicants should be BE/BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; school mental health or crisis psychiatry experience is preferred.

• Applicants must be BE/BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• School mental health or crisis/emergency psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal psychiatric evaluations in the schools on site or virtually.
• Consult with partnering school districts and participate in education and care coordination.
• Work within the Behavioral Health Center multidisciplinary team to support students.
