Zusammenfassung

Northwell Health in Westchester County is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) Child and Adolescent psychiatrist to join the school mental health team. You will perform formal psychiatric evaluations in partnering school districts, on site or virtually, and provide consultation to schools.

The consultant psychiatrist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the Behavioral Health Center, with opportunities for professional education, curricular support, and care coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Board eligible or certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BE/BC).
• Experience in school mental health or crisis/ Emergency psychiatry preferred.
• Part-time position (0.8 FTE) with on-site or virtual consultations.

Aufgaben

• Provide formal psychiatric evaluations in partnering schools on site or via telepsychiatry.
• Offer consultation to schools and multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Center team.
• Support education, care coordination, and community education in partnered districts.
