Job summary

The Williamsport Area School District is seeking a PT Aide (Degree or No Degree) for Hepburn-Lycoming Primary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports teachers and students during the school day and may involve various classrooms and student needs. Applicants with or without a degree are welcome.

The position is five hours per day across 185 days, with duties defined by the district and in line with the bargaining unit agreement. EOE.

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years of college or an Associate degree, or equivalent.
• Ability to instruct reading, writing, and math readiness as applicable.
• Requires good verbal and written communication and patience with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups under teacher supervision.
• Provide support in classrooms, libraries, computer labs, or other designated areas.
• Help implement instructional activities and maintain student confidentiality.
