Job summary

Williamsport Area School District seeks a part-time PT Aide at Jackson Primary School for the 2026-2027 school year. 5 hours per day, 185 days, open to candidates with or without a degree. Requires two years of college or an Associate degree, with CPR/First Aid and strong student-support skills. EOE.

Qualifications

• Complete at least two years of study or an Associate degree or higher.
• Experience assisting students with diverse educational and physical needs.
• First aid and CPR training when assigned to personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in groups under teacher supervision.
• Model pro-social behavior and support classroom management.
• Prepare and modify environment to meet students' needs.
• Supervise cafeteria, playground, libraries, and hallways as designated.
• Communicate effectively with administrators, staff, students and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
