Job summary

C2 Educational Systems Inc. seeks a part-time instructor to provide high-quality lessons after school, aligned with our curriculum and philosophy.

You will foster a positive learning environment and support student growth while delivering engaging, standards-based instruction. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or higher, eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, and top percentile scores on our diagnostic SAT/AP/ACT tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
• Experience teaching or tutoring in a K-12 setting preferred.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, relevant to the position and the needs of the students.
• Ability to tutor in-person.
