Job summary

Montblanc Chicago is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to contribute to individual sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment. You will develop a client base, maintain product knowledge of Montblanc collections, and uphold the store’s aesthetic while standing on the floor for most of the day.

Expected hourly range is $22-$25, with compensation and benefits aligned to Richemont standards; reports to Boutique Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales; jewelry or high-end luxury product sales is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
• Ability to stand on the sales floor for 90% of the workday.
• Ability to reach to access product stored within cabinets or on shelves.

Reports to: Boutique Manager

Role Overview

Overall responsibility for achievement of individual sales objectives; developing and servicing the customer.

Responsibilities

• Achieve preset sales objectives.
• Develop network and clientele.
• Capture client information; consistently adding information to further promote boutique relationships and sales
• Possess strong product knowledge of the various collections
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Develop a working knowledge of simple pen repair and after sales service techniques.
• Maintain the aesthetic quality of the store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales; jewelry or high-end luxury product sales is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and customer priorities. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills are needed
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Standing on the sales floor for 90% of the workday
• Reaching to access product stored within cabinets or on shelves
• Bending to access product stored within cabinets
• Occasional need to use a ladder to reach product
• Unpacking and/or lifting of large boxes that contain product
