Job summary

SS. Robert & William Parish and St. John of the Cross Parish in Euclid, Ohio seek a Part-Time Director of Music to lead the musical and liturgical life of both parishes.

The ideal candidate will be a capable pianist and singer familiar with Catholic liturgy and experienced in supporting congregational worship and parish choirs. The position requires approximately 20 hours per week, including weekend liturgies, Holy Days, and choir practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to play piano and sing.
• Familiarity with Catholic liturgy required.
• Experience supporting congregational worship and parish choirs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support musical and liturgical life of both parishes.
• Prepare liturgical music for parish celebrations.
• Choir/cantor practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
• Arrange substitute musicians and cantors as needed.
• Assist with technology and sound system integration.
