Amerivet's Pet Hospital of Tierrasanta in San Diego, CA is hiring a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician. The hospital operates 8am–6pm weekdays and 8:30am–5:30pm Saturdays; compensation ranges from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and licensure.

Qualifications

Licensed Veterinary Technician (RV T) license must be current.
3+ years veterinary experience preferred.
Experience with rooming patients, restraint, and client communication.

Responsibilities

Assist doctors with procedures and patient care.
Perform blood draws and collect medical histories.
Utilize digital radiology and dental radiography.
Monitor anesthesia and supportive care during procedures.
Place IV catheters and manage restraints as needed.
Educate clients about treatment plans and care.
