Job summary
Governor Animal Clinic in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures. You will work with a team to ensure safe, efficient patient care from induction through recovery in a fast-paced general practice.
This full-time position offers a 4/10 schedule with work Monday-Saturday and a rotating RVT Saturday as training progresses.
Qualifications
- Active and good-standing RVT in California with strong surgical anesthesia experience.
- Proven ability to induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia and assist in dental procedures.
- Demonstrated accuracy in medical record documentation and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate surgical and dental procedure schedules.
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
- Monitor patient recovery and ongoing procedural care.
- Guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion.
