Job summary

Climbepic in Fort Collins, CO seeks a routesetter to create engaging boulder problems and routes, collaborating with the team to ensure quality and fun movement. You will forerun routes, take feedback, and implement changes while maintaining equipment and workspace.

The role requires setting 2 routes in rope terrain and 5-6 boulders per day, with strong climbing technique, plus solid communication and awareness of USAC rules. Compensation includes hourly pay, health reimbursement, and pro deals.

Qualifications

• 1 year routesetting experience required
• Ability to forerun up to V5 and 5.12-
• Capable of setting 2 routes in rope terrain
• Capable of setting 5-6 boulders per day with strong climbing technique
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional communication
• Basic understanding of USAC rules, regulations, and policies

Responsibilities

• Create boulder problems and routes that are fun, interesting, and creative
• Collaborate with the team and forerun routes providing feedback
• Take constructive feedback and apply changes to the product
• Wash holds and perform routine maintenance
• Keep tools and gear organized and tidy in holds room
• Participate in competitions and quarterly/annual reviews
