HireArt is helping our client hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots.

This part-time, onsite role offers hands-on learning in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly, with early responsibilities that build foundation for a career in the field. You will join a small team and help ensure the fleet is ready for deployment each shift.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in varied field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Charge robots and batteries overnight for maximum fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support service campaigns: help update hardware or software across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: act as hands-on contact for the remote tracking team.
• Calibrate and wheel align: ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and safe: maintain a tidy workspace for the technical team.
