Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational or college credits preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting; EHR and Microsoft Outlook competency required.
• Current Tennessee RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and updates patient records using the EHR system.
• Contacts patients regarding test results or related reasons as directed.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and records vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, height, weight).
• Performs phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, Holter monitor, and assists physicians with procedures.
• Administers medications and conducts patient education.
• Maintains stocked, neat exam rooms and common areas daily.
• Handles triage calls, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescribing when appropriate.
• Adheres to company policies, HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Follows site-specific protocols and expectations.
