Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a part-time, self-motivated Registered Nurse for our Newnan clinic who loves transforming lives through exceptional patient care. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care in a spine and joint care setting.

The RN will manage patient care according to evidence-based guidelines, monitor symptoms, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians. BLS/ALS/ACLS certification and Georgia RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license without limitations.
• BLS and ALS/ACLS certified.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment and decision-making.
• Deliver patient care using evidence-based guidelines and available resources.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior; administer medications; document encounters and progress notes.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Educate patients and families, provide emotional support, and advise on care plans.
