Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse for Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week with a 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM shift, every other weekend, in a collaborative, evidence-based care setting.

The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team, delivering patient-centered care and supporting a healing, safe environment. A valid PA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ASN is required from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN is preferred for this position.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing practice standards with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document on Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and document accordingly.
• Implement appropriate nursing actions for each patient as identified.
• Make decisions reflecting knowledge and sound judgment.
• Discuss care plans with patient and/or family and document outcomes.
