Job summary

Firelands Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse to supervise and coordinate Nursing Services on the designated shift. You will serve as a consultant for patient care planning and intervention, representing Nursing Administration on your shift.

You will lead Code Blue and MET teams, manage staffing, promote clear communication across departments, and act as Incident Commander until relieved by Senior Management. ACLS is required, and Ohio licensure is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Ohio.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of medical/surgical or critical care/emergency experience; ACLS required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Nursing Services on the designated shift.
• Consult on patient care planning and intervention.
• Represent Nursing Administration on shift; communicate with departments.
• Lead Code Blue and MET teams; act as Incident Commander until relieved.
• Staffing adjustments for each shift and notification of OR/Cath lab in emergencies.
• Promote effective communication across units and departments.
• Counsels staff and refers documentation to the Nurse Director.
• Notify Administrator-on-Call of significant events and needs.
• Serve as FRMC representative to the community.
