Job summary

Westminster Winter Park, part of Westminster Communities of Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in the Health Center. The RN reports to the Director of Nursing and will work a 20–30 hour per week schedule, weekdays and weekends, 1st shift 7am–3pm.

Qualifications include current Florida RN licensure and CPR certification; one year of long-term care is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification is required.
• One year of long-term care experience is desirable; other healthcare settings helpful.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents' families and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in the Health Center.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure admissions/discharges are completed on the day shift.
• Review orders, lab results, and imaging; address any issues.
• Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other providers.
