Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a compassionate, patient-centered clinical team. The role supports reproductive healthcare, patient education, and non-judgmental care across our Baltimore and Annapolis clinics.

Reporting to the Charge Nurse and Director of Abortion Services, you will lead on-the-floor care, ensure safety and compliance, administer medications, mentor learners, and collaborate with clinicians and staff to maintain high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland RN license.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire) and active BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 180 days).
• Language: Fluent English; bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist patients from exam tables to wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Empathetic Patient Care: direct nursing care, histories, counseling, vitals, labs.
• Support Procedures & Recovery: prepare recovery room, medications, records, emergency equipment.
• Administer & Document Accurately: meds per orders and document in EPM/EHR systems.
• Champion the Patient Experience: uphold service standards and satisfaction surveys.
• Collaborate and Model Team Values: work with providers, staff, volunteers, and learners to maintain a cohesive team environment.
