Job summary

Adventist Rehabilitation in Rockville, MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for their Rehabilitation Unit in a part-time daytime role. This position is ideal for new graduates looking to grow their skills while providing compassionate care.

You will educate patients and families, mentor Level I nurses, and uphold ANA standards of practice. The role requires a Maryland RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Maryland nursing license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.
