Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required at hire (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu).
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with health care team.
• Maintains documentation of nursing services; acts as patient advocate.
• Performs nursing assessments, planning of care, and patient/family teaching.
• Administers medications and ensures safe operation of patient care equipment.
