Job summary

Premise Health in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees at our Health Center.

This role offers 20 hours per week, split into two 10-hour shifts, with responsibilities spanning clinical evaluations, patient care, and case management coordination with the TPA and client. A valid RN license and relevant certifications are required, with additional occupational health credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice
• ASN/ADN or nursing certificate
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• 3+ years RN experience in occupational health or related setting

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned
