Job summary

Shine is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to lead medication compliance reviews and staff training across our California residential programs. The role focuses on aligning med dosages with physician orders, reducing over-prescription where appropriate, and providing clinical coaching to LVNs and DSPs.

You will conduct monthly audits, review MARs, collaborate with physicians and pharmacists, and track metrics for leadership.

Qualifications

Active RN license in California.
3+ years of clinical or home health RN experience.
Reliable transportation to visit multiple locations in CA.

Responsibilities

Conduct monthly medication audits across residential homes to ensure compliance with physician orders and California regulations.
Review MARs, physician orders and medication logs for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Identify trends and discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and staff to resolve medication-related concerns and promote safe practices.
Track compliance metrics and report findings to leadership.
Provide clinical coaching to LVNs, DSPs, and residential staff.
Plan and facilitate quarterly medication management and training for staff.
