Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg CDU on a part-time daytime shift (7am–7pm). The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care, guided by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based standards.

Candidates should have an ASN/ Diploma or BSN preferred, an active RN license (single state or compact), BLS certification, and less than 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor’s Nursing preferred.
• RN license valid in the state or multi-state compact.
• Current BLS or ARC-BLS, Instructor acceptable.
• Less than 1 year direct patient care experience (clinical hours during schooling).
• Evidence-based practice and participation in professional development are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Uphold Wellstar policies, governance models and professional practice standards.
• Coordinate care and maintain thorough, compliant documentation.
