Job summary

Penn Medicine's Lancaster General Hospital seeks an experienced RN to join the 3 West unit on a part-time basis. The role covers 24 hours per week, 7am–7pm, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

The Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague provides comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with the health care team, and mentors others while upholding Penn Medicine values of privacy, quality, respect, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by PA Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred; Magnet positions may require BSN within 3 years.
• CPR/AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on health practices and treatment options.
• Lead and supervise other staff to achieve care goals.
