Qualifications

• Familiar with federal and state regulations regarding restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine health assessments of youth as per regulations.
• Oversee proper ordering and checking of medications.
• Ensure compliance with MAP procedures and train staff.
• Administer medications to clients as needed.
• Field nursing calls while on-call.

Skills

Registered RN Licensure in Massachusetts

Two years of residential or psychiatric experience

Certification as a MAP RN and MAP Nurse Monitor

Knowledge of trauma-informed care

Familiarity with de-escalation techniques
