Job summary
Missouri Veterans Home in Missouri is seeking compassionate part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to support veterans across shifts. You will assess needs, implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care to our state's bravest heroes.

Qualifications
- Licensed RN or LPN in Missouri in good standing.
- Graduate nurse provision allows practice until licensure results or 90 days after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift.
- Assess Veterans' needs and ensure services match those needs.
- Implement Veteran care plans according to healthcare protocol.
- Round with physician, inform status, and receive care instructions.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in EMR.
- Give medications and treatments as prescribed with follow-up.
- Assist Veterans with transfers, positioning, and daily activities.
- Assist Veterans upon admission and/or discharge.
- Participate in unit staff orientation.
