Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking a House Supervisor, RN for a part-time, rotating-shift role. You will serve as an administrative resource across hospital departments in the absence of leaders, supervising nursing care and coordinating patient placement.

With a strong focus on infection control, CQI, and budgeting, you will lead staff utilization and communication to help ensure high-quality patient care and smooth operations across MercyOne Northeast Iowa.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa required.
• Bachelor's degree; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in medical/surgical, ICU, or ER nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care clinically and administratively across departments.
• Assist in patient placement and staffing decisions; maintain effective communication.
• Support infection control, CQI initiatives, and budget optimization.

Education
