Responsibilities

• Provide on-site administrative and clinical leadership during specific shifts.
• Serve as primary contact for staff in the absence of the DON or Residential Manager.
• Assist with patient assignments during shifts.
• Update patient census during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Check patients in and out of the facility, ensuring medications and paperwork are secure.
• Rounding on patients to audit adherence to care plans.
• Assist with orientation and training of nursing and residential staff for best practices and compliance.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and reporting for infection control.
• Assist in evaluating nurse performance through audits and training.
• Ensure documentation integrity in the EHR and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, case management, physicians for orders.
• Identify understaffing and waste, take corrective action.
• Assist in program development and staff education.
• Support RN responsibilities at Houston, Galveston, and Lubbock locations as needed.
