Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a part-time registered nurse to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care, and educate patients and families across the continuum. The RN will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, leading activities such as mentorship, quality improvement, and committee participation as needed.

Qualifications include graduation from a nursing program, RN licensure with BLS, and potential TN sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with a start date after Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of a BSN within five years.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with a start date prior to Apr 1, 2020 must provide BSN evidence as stipulated.
• One year of RN experience or one year of Mayo Clinic LPN experience is preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS; other state licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and provide direct patient care.

• Lead in preceptor roles and quality improvement activities.
• Possibly participate on committees or projects.
