Job summary

Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Illinois is seeking a part-time RN to join our dedicated care team. The role focuses on administering medications, monitoring vitals, and delivering compassionate nursing care to residents with dignity and respect.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, and has experience with geriatric populations and EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license in the state of Illinois.
• Current CPR registration.
• Knowledge of geriatric population in life community settings.
• Working knowledge of policy and procedure book.
• Recent clinical experience.
• Experience with EHR or willingness/ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive resident nursing care per care plans.
• Implement data collection and care plan development.
• Dispense and oversee treatments, medications, and diets.
• Maintain resident records including medications and treatments.
• Supervise nursing assistants and assist with evaluations.
• Contribute to care planning with observed resident needs.
• Provide individualized attention to promote well-being.
• Report significant events to nursing admin on duty.
