Job summary

MediLodge Montrose is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide total nursing care for residents and to supervise clinical staff. The role emphasizes coordinated care, documentation, and adherence to policy while supporting the well-being of residents.

The RN will plan and implement care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, administer medications, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice. Michigan RN licensure and CPR are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and capabilities.
• Supervises, directs and evaluates LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
• Administers medications, starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is safe.
• Interviews applicants and participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and staff termination as allowed by state act.
