Job summary

Parexel Glendale Unit is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support early phase clinical trials. This intermittent role involves direct participant care, lab coordination, and adherence to SOPs, GCP, and study protocols.

After training, expect about 20 hours weekly with some weekend shifts. Base pay ranges $40.00 to $47.00 per hour, plus benefits and a bonus plan where eligible.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working in a hospital or clinical setting.
• BSN preferred or relevant work experience.
• Active Registered Nurse License in the state of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Support SOPs, GCP, and clinical operation processes to ensure compliant EPCU functions.
• Assume responsibility for patient care and study conduct assignments.
• Ensure all study laboratory and medical tests are completed per protocol; arrange pre/post procedure labs.
• Meet established timelines for responsibilities and projects.
• Participate in identification and enrollment of study participants and contribute to study objectives.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to drugs and treatments.
• Collect and prepare data; enter data into case report forms and databases as required.
• Assist with phlebotomy, sample handling, and dual-role documentation.
• Act as participant advocate in the conduct of clinical studies.

Education

BSN preferred or relevant work experience

Registered Nurse License in California

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 6 months
