Job summary

Parexel Glendale Unit seeks an experienced registered nurse to support the Early Phase Clinical Unit, administering investigational therapies and monitoring volunteers across multiple routes. You will ensure SOPs and GCP compliance, manage data collection, and coordinate patient care with the study team.

Training lasts about two weeks, then approximately 20 hours per week with 2–3 weekend shifts per month. Base pay ranges from $40.00 to $47.00 per hour, with potential bonuses and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a hospital or clinical setting.
• BSN preferred or relevant work experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Support SOPs, GCP, and work processes for EPCU.
• Assume responsibility for patient care and study conduct assignments.
• Ensure study labs and medical tests are completed per protocol; assess compliance and symptoms.
• Meet established timelines related to responsibilities and projects.
• Participate in identification and enrollment of study participants where applicable.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report patient status and reactions to treatments.
• Collect and prepare data; enter into case report forms and databases.
• Assist physicians with flow sheets in medical records and progress notes.
• Act as participant advocate in clinical studies.
