Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Decatur clinic on a part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality patient care, follow evidence-based guidelines, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to optimize outcomes.

The role requires GA RN licensure in good standing, BLS and ACLS certification, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong communication. You will educate patients, monitor symptoms, and support care plans in a fast-paced Spine & Joint

Qualifications

Georgia RN license in good standing.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with medical software and equipment.
Ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.
Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Educates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family members
