Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation in Du Quoin, IL, is hiring part-time Registered Nurses for day and night shifts. Competitive pay ranges from $34.00 to $36.00 per hour based on experience, with in-person work at our skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate holds an active IL RN license, is a graduate of an accredited program, and brings strong clinical skills, collaboration, and a commitment to resident-centered care. This role requires 12-hour shifts and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Illinois required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with electronic medical records; PCC experience preferred.
• Infection prevention, resident safety and regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to supervise nursing personnel as needed.
• Calm and professional under emergencies and challenging situations.
• Willingness to work scheduled 12-hour day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe, and individualized nursing care per plans and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health status and vitals.
• Identify and report changes in residents' condition promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Develop, implement, and update resident care plans.
• Perform nursing procedures per standards and facility guidelines.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in EMR.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Communicate care needs and treatment plans to residents and families.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, and assessments.
