Job summary

A leading community health center in Spokane, WA is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $41.26 to $50.55 per hour depending on experience, along with a $3,500 hiring bonus. Qualifications

• RN license required for Washington State practice; dual Washington/Oregon licensure within 120 days.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• One year's experience providing clinical or outpatient care as an RN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care during patient visits and obtains vital signs.
• Performs phone triage with patients to determine chief complaint.
• Documents health history and actions in the EMR system.
• Assists providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Performs IV starts when ordered and provides patient information.
• Communicates with patients to collect information on allergies.
• Explains medication usage and obtains consent.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers on patient care.
• Coordinates patient flow with ancillary staff.
• Meets requirements of The Joint Commission and HRSA.

Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Training in Early Periodic Screening & Development Testing

Training in Women’s Health Exams

Proficient in nursing concepts

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Professional interaction with patients

Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and EMR

Education
