Job summary

Coastal Family Health Center in Astoria, OR is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for 20 hours per week. The role uses EPIC EMR and offers opportunities for bilingual compensation.

The ideal candidate holds an OR RN license with Oregon licensure and dual WA/OR licensure eligibility, with a BSN preferred and 1 year outpatient RN experience. BCLS required within 90 days; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• 1 year outpatient or clinical RN experience preferred.
• Active OR RN license; dual WA/OR licensure within 120 days.
• BCLS within 90 days; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NLC requirements and suicide-prevention training during onboarding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at ALTA score of 10.
• Dual WA/OR licensure and WA license within 6 months if relocating.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during visits, obtaining vital signs and health history.
• Perform phone triage and determine Next steps and follow-up care.
• Document health history, assessments, actions and medications in EPIC EMR.
• Assist providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Perform IV starts and educate patients on procedures and risks.
• Coordinate interagency referrals as directed by the provider.
• Implement patient plan of care and initiate follow-up as needed.
• Maintain patient flow with ancillary staff and ensure compliance with care standards.
