Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an RN Visit Nurse to deliver in-home direct patient care under the prescribed plan of care in the Columbus, OH area, including Groveport, Grove City, Urbancrest, Darbydale, Lockbourne, Canal Winchester, and surrounding neighborhoods.

The role is PRN/part-time with about 10 visits per week, managing a caseload, flexible scheduling, and a daily pay option. Active RN license in Ohio, ADN/AAS, CPR/BLS/First Aid required, and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or AAS in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification required.
• Reliable transportation to care sites and/or work locations.
• Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed, including vitals, blood/stool/urine, and glucose.
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids, documenting thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

As an RN Visit Nurse (RN), you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

What We Offer Our RN Visit Nurses (RN):

• Competitive pay with a pay-per-visit compensation structure:
• Start of Care: $162.00 per visit
• Resumption of Care: $130.00 per visit
• Recertification: $97.00 per visit
• Oasis Discharge: $97.00 per visit
• Regular Visit: $65.00 per visit
• High Acuity Visits: $10 additional per visit for IV/3 or more complex wounds, etc. Must be approved by a supervisor.
• Non-Productive Time: $30.00 per hour
• PRN/Part-time position with approximately 10 visits per week
• RN will manage a caseload of patients each week
• Flexible scheduling with a dedication to work/life balance
• Daily Pay option available

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice while closely monitoring progress/recovery
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed, including vitals, blood/stool/urine, and glucose
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids, documenting thoroughly
• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene
• Assess patients for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc., and deliver appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

To qualify for an RN Visit Nurse (RN) position with us, you will need:

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state associated with this position
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
• Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required
