The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nursing from an NLN/AACN accredited program, at least 2 years of RN experience, and an active NJ RN license with a specialty certification. This is a day-shift, part-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an NLN/AACN accredited program.
• 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• Certification in area of specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Function as a clinical resource for nursing staff and physicians in identifying problems and developing solutions.
• Develop and maintain a communication system for timely information transmission to the care team.
• Revise the plan of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor documentation in the medical record to ensure patient outcomes are achieved.
• Establish a system for coordinating patient care across geographic areas.
• Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team involved in patient care.
• Collect, analyze, and share data to assess compliance with established guidelines.
• Educate the multidisciplinary team on compliance with current guidelines.
• Participate in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes.
