Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.75 FTE) for the Admission/Referral Coordination Center (ARCC). This role offers a 12-hour day/night rotation, with two weekends per six weeks, and is based at the GHS Regional Operations Center.

The RN will coordinate admissions and referrals, working behind the scenes to ensure optimal patient placement. Requires Wisconsin RN license and 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure to practice in Wisconsin upon hire.
• At least 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably inpatient.
• Strong technical skills, multitasking and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, referrals and transfers by facilitating communication among clinicians and hospital staff.
• Ensure appropriate patient placement and efficient workflow within ARCC.
• No direct patient contact; work in a behind-the-scenes, office-based setting.
