Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Mount Clemens, MI, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process. You will work with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards and patient/family-centered care.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, BLS, ACLS by orientation, and NRP by orientation for designated units; a BSN and wound care certifications are preferred; on-site schedule is 7am–7:30pm with weekends as specified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing Program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC or Canadian equivalent, valid at least 60 days beyond start date.
• ACLS required by end of unit orientation for various units including CCL, PACU, ENDO, IR, ICU, ED, CDU, CSS, CSU, Ambulatory Surgery, and Step-Down Unit.
• NRP certification required by end of unit orientation for FBC.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
