Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Part‑Time Regular and Seasonal Hourly Retail Associate to join our NSO – RSR101 team. This role supports store leadership, delivers a personal shopping experience, and drives sales through product knowledge and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–5 years of related retail experience.
• Experience operating inventory and POS systems.
• Strong judgment to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Excellent communication with store leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and in‑the‑moment coaching to engage consumers, make product recommendations, and leverage product knowledge to influence buying decisions.
• Ensure associates connect consumers to company loyalty programs and solicit feedback through consumer surveys.
• Support store leadership in the execution of merchandising directives; ensure timely replenishment of the sales floor and maintain high store standards for product presentation and store cleanliness.
• Supervise and oversee the assigned department of responsibility. Drive department sales through deep understanding of consumer needs, product training, visual merchandising, and communication of product needs and challenges with store leadership.
• Collaborate with store leadership team to ensure accurate execution of procedures and compliance with company policies. Work to resolve any problems or errors.
• Create and maintain a store culture of teamwork; lead by example to high professional standards and demonstrate Columbia Sportswear Company values.
