Job summary

Columbia Sportswear is looking for a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding in-store experiences and assist customers with product questions and purchases. You will engage with shoppers, demonstrate merchandise, and help them find the right options while supporting store leadership and brand values.

This role offers a starting wage of $16 per hour with opportunities for advancement, flexible schedule considerations, and employee discounts across Columbia, prAna, Sorel, and Mountain Hardwear.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Skill operating Inventory and POS systems, and various other retail software tools.
• 16 years of age or older.
• Employees must be age 18 and have worked 1,000 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and issues, and recommending products.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Perform all required cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by handling product flow and stock replenishment.
