Job summary

Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Part-Time Retail Store Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service and support daily store operations. The role offers a 25–30 hour schedule per week in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

You will assist customers in selecting safety footwear, learn product lines, and operate POS systems while maintaining organized displays and contributing to inventory and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• At least 9 months of retail sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and use Navision retail system.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service while helping customers select safety footwear
• Learn product lines and explain features, fit and benefits to customers
• Learn and use Navision to manage transactions and customer data
• Process sales transactions, including cash and credit card payments using POS systems
• Maintain clean, organized showroom displays and assist with merchandising
• Support store operations and administrative tasks as needed
• Cross-train in other administrative duties and ordering supplies
• Work with team to create a positive, customer-focused store environment
