Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated items and keep our store organized. You will participate in production goals and help move merchandise to the sales floor while supporting a team-focused environment.

Paid training is provided, with ongoing coaching and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills. The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current pursuit is required.
• Basic math and computer skills are needed for processing donations and inventory.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.

• Receive trucks and assist with loading/unloading and directing merchandise to departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.

Location: Brighton MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
