andyfrain is seeking a part-time Retail Security Guard at Oak Brook, IL to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees and vendors. The role requires attention to detail, professionalism and a customer-first mindset.

This position offers a $17.50 per hour pay, 4:00PM–10:00PM schedule, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, employee discounts and an Employee Assistance Program, with a supportive work environment focused on well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background and drug screen; contingent on background check.
• 3–6 months experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV or access systems.
• State Guard license is required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas or fixed post to monitor activity.
• Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents or safety concerns.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies and on-site incidents.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.
• Greet and assist customers, employees and visitors professionally.
