Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates for in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, and other retailers in the North Webster area. The role uses a mobile app to scan barcodes and record product quantities, with additional time devoted to complete store displays each week.

Expect weekly deadlines, independent work, and opportunities for small, project-based tasks. The position offers on-site work with flexible scheduling and room for extra hours through the year.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes across multiple store locations.
• Provide quantity details for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete Display Scanning in the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Engage in Custom Projects that add 1–2 hours of work per store during busy weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-focused work habits.
