Job summary

Scanscapeusa is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to support in-store data collection at local retailers in Smithville, MO. The role involves weekly scans via a mobile app, flexible hours within a small-hour schedule, and working across grocery, drug, and mass merchandise formats.

You’ll report to a local supervisor and ensure accurate data delivery for our clients. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid driver's license, own a reliable vehicle, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi-Fi access.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across various store sections.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly.
• Assist with Custom Projects that may add 1–2 hours in select weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines to ensure timely data delivery.
