Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at local retailers every week throughout the year. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes, handle occasional custom projects, and maintain timely, accurate data for big-brand retailers across grocery and mass merchandise stores.

This role offers flexible hours, paid travel at your hourly rate, sick time, and 401(k) eligibility. Expect steady tasks, independence, and a recurring weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and self-starting.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes using a mobile app across multiple store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products when requested.
• Complete Display Scanning tasks on the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours in weeks with higher demand.
• Report to your store within described deadlines and maintain dependable, quality work.
